Mathematics is a science that studies numbers, formulas, shapes, and quantities. It includes the study of:

Structure, Order, Relation, Counting, Measuring, Describing the shapes of objects.

The major branches of mathematics include:

Number system and basic arithmetic

Algebra

Trigonometry

Geometry and Cartesian geometry

Calculus- differential and integral

Matrix algebra

Probability and statistics

Mathematics is also known as the "Queen of Sciences". Mathematicians seek out patterns, formulate new conjectures, and establish truth by rigorous deduction from appropriately chosen axioms and definitions.

Mathematics is often considered a hard subject. However, not all difficulties with the subject result from cognitive difficulties.
